Flaxseed oil is a popular all purpose carrier oil used by aromatherapists and massage therapists.  Often used in hair care products due to its conditioning properties.  It has high vitamin E levels.  It is also reputed to be an excellent oil to use on dry, mature and sensitive skin as its very soothing.  It may help to reduce the look of cellulite and improve skin elasticity, prevent scarring and stretchmarks.  It is often added to lotions and creams to add skin strengthening properties.
