How do I know my order has gone through? I will send you an e-mail confirmation receipt of your order. The contract between me (Freya Natural Therapy) and you (the customer) becomes binding when I send you an invoice (with your goods). What happens if my package hasn't arrived? I will deliver the goods to the address for delivery that you specified when you placed your order. Please be accurate when you give me your address details as I will not be liable if the address that you have given and that I will deliver to is incorrect. What happens if I need to return a gift? If you have received an item from Freya Natural Therapy as a gift you may return it for an exchange only. You will be required to pay for the return of the item to us. Please ensure that the package is wrapped and boxed securely and for your protection I recommend that you obtain a 'certificate of postage' from the Post Office as I cannot accept liability for goods lost in transit. Are your products suitable for use during pregnancy? Essential oils are highly volatile and powerful substances. I do not recommend the use of any essential oils during the first 3 months of pregnancy.
After 3 months I only recommend the use of the Simply Pregnant blend for women during pregnancy as it is made using a maximum concentration of 1% essential oils, a recognized safe dose for women. Although the oils in some of my other products use oils safe for women in pregnancy because the concentration of oils is higher I prefer to err on the side of caution.
Are your products suitable for use on children? Due to the concentration of essential oils in these products I recommend Uplifting exotic citrus and Simply Pregnant as suitable blends. For babies and breastfeeding mothers I only recommend the use of Simply Pregnant blend.
Can your products be used on sensitive skin types? All my products are very gentle, and all ingredients are either natural or naturally derived, however some people can react to certain ingredients. In addition certain essential oils can cause sensitivity so I recommend that if you have sensitive skin, you carry out a patch test on an area of skin before using my products.
What is the shelf life of your products? The shelf life of my products range from 12 months for shower gels and bath foam to 18 months for body lotions. As my products are naturally based, we recommend that once opened they should be used within 6 months.
Are there any products in the range that are specifically for men? There are no specific products for men but I have found that men enjoy Revive and Revitalise, After Sports and Uplifting Exotic Citrus ranges. I am currently looking into a range for men.
Are your products organic? My products are not fully organic, although I do use organic natural actives in many of my formulations.
